Honestly-all other moral considerations aside-the level of lack of even enlightened self interest on this administration is astonishing.

If it does come (God forbid) to full open conflict, exactly where do they think the military leaders they fired will stand?

In the last two years of her life, my mother had dementia serious enough to require medication to be even marginally functional while under constant supervision.

Even so, she may have had a better grip on reality than members of the Republican political machine.

Small suggestion: if you have the opportunity see the expanded version.

No spoilers, but I will say that, while a lot of the material doesn’t necessarily expand the story one scene does. It’s a quiet scene in which one character simply asks “why”-what is the goal of the possession?

Just a thought, but how about some more Democrats doing what AOC has done and guide visitors on tours while the tour guides are furloughed? (If they aren’t already.)

Not only is it good PR, it’s great public service.
