I’m tired of the manufactured hate toward disabled people the lies about “luxury cars,” the attacks on ADHD, the yearly reassessments for conditions that will never change.
This is hate

Well that’s even more fucked. I can confirm my muted word list is empty now

Social media ban has fucked the teen disability community, I suppose it will prepare them for the abuse, neglect and trauma you get as an adult, the ones that survive, that is. #disability.

Speaking as a rural teacher. This 👇
And you know what really scares me? That offline, particularly in low income rural communities there’s the far right rising fast. And young leftists are losing the chance to organise resistance online because of the social media ban

I cannot stress enough to any other Australians to please avoid KWS verification like the plague.

I was checking through what bluesky's verification was and just immediately with this.
If you don't know, KWS had a data breech and it was confirmed user data was stolen that was supposed to be deleted

interesting choice to project "LET THEM BE KIDS" onto the Sydney Harbour Bridge as part of the celebrations of the teen social media ban

It's not a line that came from Albanese or the government — it's the name of News Corp's campaign for the ban.

That NDIS is the only government scheme that requires teams of multi-disciplinary experts to support applications, then to ignore said applications. Once the NDIA is sued by its own staff for creating a work culture that creates and sustains moral injury. I hope there's a class action that targets

Were I in a govt that really cared about kids, I’d be banning new coal and gas mines with rather more fervour than the current ban on social media.

Probably wouldn’t get the same boasting front pages in the Herald Sun and Daily Telegraph though…
The November monthly temperatures have been released and 2025 looks set to be the 2nd hottest year on record.

Remember when warming apparently stopped in 1997?

That is more than 0.5C ago.

Tired of having to fight for basic decency.

Tired of having to fight to remain housed and fed.

Tired of having to fight for medical care.

Tired of having to try and convince the world that I matter even though I’m disabled.

One of them was put in hospital and required vascular surgery.

He received community service for violent sex crimes that almost took a life.

He will reoffend, and everyone who helped him go free should be held accountable

Framing the teen social media ban as standing up to big tech to protect the children is such bullshit.
If they had any desire to stand up to big tech they’d tax it properly.

He wants you to hate immigrants because it keeps you from recognizing that he’s the problem.

Don’t fall for it.
