I also think it’s interesting how even when there’s much more asinine responses like Bill Burr’s or Louis C.K.’s, but people aren’t unilaterally eating this up just bc it’s better in comparison

What they really didn’t think of is that it’s not just one side of the internet or ppl who are particularly knowledgeable about Saudi Arabia who they pissed off. Like I don’t think I’ve seen any side online come up with a defense for them outside of “but the money”

The funniest part of this whole ordeal is how much comedians are showing their ass both in how easily they’re bought and in how transparent their attempts to wash their hands of it are. And I think it is bc they didn’t think ppl would notice or care.

This isn’t trump “fucking up” to be clear. The violence is the point.

Blasts were heard and seen in Gaza from southern Israel, hours after Israel and Hamas said they had agreed to a long-awaited ceasefire and hostage deal, the first phase of President Trump's plan to end a war in Gaza.

Also it’s telling that he refers to film as “content creation”. Very producer take that sees it not as art but something to consume

“Ethical generative AI” is an oxymoron

Jason Blum says Hollywood should 'embrace AI' and viewers 'don't care if what they’re looking at is AI"

"it’s here to stay. It’s very important to use it ethically and legally, and for studios and guilds to protect the copyright of the artists"

... devastation wrought by human avarice, the lengths power-hungry men will go to lord over the weak and vulnerable, would understand that.

But I think, end of the day, he–like every other liberal-to-leftist person enthused by gAI–might be too excited by the "potential" of gAI than its...

This is like one of the only things I think that would get me to go out of my way to buy a new assassins creed lol (i say knowing I probably would like Yasuke from what I’ve heard)

Ubisoft canceled an ‘ASSASSINS CREED’ game set in the post-Civil War era

• Featured a Black Assassin who was formerly a slave

• Players would fight the emerging KKK

• Leadership canceled it after concerns with U.S. political climate & Yasuke backlash

*I mostly mean that if the idea of affirmation is hidden rather than clearly stated and brought up without cryptic language, then you should be wary rather than that there’s a checklist
scaredbisexual.bsky.social
I also think the very nature of intersectionality often means focusing on other aspects of inclusion also signifies being open and affirming
scaredbisexual.bsky.social
I don’t think it’s a checklist but more that it’s a red flag when churches hide it in the fine print so I do think saying open and affirming in a website is an example of a good sign as well as mentioning it when relevant.
