Really feels like a baffling own goal by the Current.
Chris Armas later apologized for this outburst, which is good, but it's not really helping his case for the folks who may doubt his ability to lead the KC Current.
Here’s the video at the start of the question. Decide for yourself if @bymattpollard.bsky.social is in the wrong here:

Somewhere, somehow, Amy Klobuchar and Chuck Schumer are workshopping ways to get the words "kitchen table issues" into an Official Statement.

If local police can’t protect us against ICE thugs, what’s the military gear for?

Back to batons and cleanly pressed uniforms, and a budget to match.

Remember, Elon Musk has sued other journalists for daring to question advertisers why they remain on X.
I reached out to more than three dozen X advertisers, xAI investors, politicians, and government agencies about the growing library of sexualized deepfakes generated with Grok—now including Renee Good. I only heard back from four, with three declining to comment.

Why isn't there a bigger Grok boycott?
Advertisers, politicians, and investors are still all-in on X, despite a sexual abuse crisis.

Remember when Notre Dame threw an extended weeklong tantrum, accusing everyone of a conspiracy, threatening to leave the ACC and boycott ESPN, refusing to play in the esteemed Pop-Tart Bowl, all because of how manifestly unqualified to make the playoff they said Miami was

NEW: Data released by ICE shows that virtually the entire growth of detention in the last few months has been among people with no criminal record at all - no prior convictions (no matter how minor) and no pending criminal charges.

Dems are still approaching this wrong. I just saw a BBC host ask a state senator if Tim Walz should call out the National Guard.

He says, "No, because Minnesotans know how to protest peacefully."

THAT'S NOT WHO THE GUARD IS FOR. THE GUARD IS TO PROTECT THE PROTESTERS FROM LAWLESS FEDERAL AGENTS.

This is insane. Has Kurt watched the video? Did he miss the part where the officer is standing upright, undisturbed, firing a second shot as the car drives away?

Clown shit. Not journalism. If you subscribe to this rag, you’re a sucker.
"Was the officer struck by the vehicle, as President Trump insists, or did the car pass by or around him?"
If we only had some trusted institution that could adjudicate between competing claims by relying on facts.

Everyone’s shared this, but it’s fantastic: everything wrong with the new macOS’s menu icons.

Weirdly — and maybe this makes me a bad designer — I’m much less offended by “every menu item has an icon” than the “none of these icons are consistent whatsoever” part.

Nancy isn’t blameless — and xG doesn’t equal results — but how are you going to hire a manger midseason knowing that he’s going to change the system, and then act shocked when the manager wants to be patient because the underlying numbers are there.

Utterly bizarre sequence of events.

Bummed about this for two reasons:

1. He’s obviously talented (look at the xG for and against!) but needed to be able to bring in players — nothing a coach can do if the team can’t bury sitters.

2. If he was going to crash out of Europe, I wish he’d waited until the Galaxy job was open!
