This is the ad that Fox News does NOT want you to see.

Fox News rejected our newest ad, which demonstrates that Trump has “gone too far” with ICE.

But we will not remain silent in the face of these attacks.

I need people to understand that it’s not just Epstein, it’s the entire rape culture that existed before and after him at every socioeconomic level. That’s why Epstein, who I’ve never thought was particularly smart or interesting, was able to pull this all off—he recognized how abuse functions

Such incredible bravery and integrity. We are going to win.
IRS executive Kathleen Walters was asked to break the law by the Trump administration, and refused.

The arrests of journalists Don Lemon and Georgia Fort are a test for every MSM member with a platform. If you are not voicing your outrage at this blatant violation of the First Amendment, you are utterly discredited as a journalist.

There have been many journalists arrested in the US before. I'm one of them.

This is still very different. Lemon wasn't arrested as part of a mass of arrests of people surrounding a protest as it was happening and released (as I was). Lemon is being re-arrested for having covered a protest.

I get tired of saying it, but I’ll say it again: the nature of oppression in America is that they workshop it first on Black, Latino, Asian & Native people.

But it is always, in the end, coming for everyone.

Madison stands with Minneapolis. We will not be silent in the face of fascism. We will continue to organize and keep our neighbors safe.

An institution that is designed to terrorize our communities cannot be reformed. Abolishing ICE and holding those in power accountable is the only way forward.

NYT says ICE shot him in the back:

An “agent aims his own firearm at Mr. Pretti’s back and appears to fire one shot at close range… A third agent unholsters a weapon. Both agents appear to fire additional shots into Mr. Pretti as he lies motionless… At least 10 shots appear to have been fired…”

ICE officers fired multiple shots and killed an American who was on the ground.

It has become a rogue, militarized police in our communities.

Democrats can't vote for Laken Riley or tripled ICE budgets and pretend to be an opposition party.

Tear it down & build a new agency.

The video makes clear that Alex Pretti was not holding a weapon in the lead-up to the shooting, or when federal agents forcefully took him to the ground
Video contradicts Trump administration account of Minneapolis killing
Once again, DHS appears to be lying.

It is difficult to put into words what is happening in this country right now.

We cannot normalize a rogue federal agency that murders people on the street, kidnaps children, and terrorizes our communities. Do not look away. Abolish ICE.

I’m seeing posts from people (outside of MN) about how US citizens should carry their passports.

And let me say that *inside* MN, we are calmly responding to requests with: “No, I don’t have to show you any documentation.”

Because that’s how you protect everyone, regardless of immigration status.

A decade ago, when Trump one the first time, I and other Black writers tried to make us see that racism — both explicit and deeply seeded — was at the root of Trump’s rise. We were dismissed even as late as last year as people attributed economic anxieties to Trump’s wins.
