I have this habit of trying to crush pimples along my back so I can 100% see him contorting and stretching in the same way 😭

Maybe they start out as clothes/ glued on and become part of him later down the line 👀

Pretty much, yes XD
Either that or he specifically glued the spikes to his back so he could be cool XD

Initially, both the stripes and tail were intended to be just accessories, but over time they merged into his body somehow 😭

If they aren't collected within three years, the first of the hounds activates to search for them, more hounds waking up as time progresses :3
Though the hounds are highly competent so usually the first one gets the job done within days!

As a soul beast, someone can survive indefinitely - if their soul isn't too damaged to contain the consciousness, they're virtually immortal ^^

Winks and whispers are completely loose consciousnesses though, and those are snatched up pretty quickly!

I can absolutely understand that it's pretty confusing - my ramblings were pretty incoherent XD
Initially, I called them Angels and devils as placeholder names, which might make their function a bit more clear :3
They're kinda just floating around until they react to a soul XD
