"Rosie's Rampage". A 2.5D platformer based on keeping momentum. She's an autoworker with no legs who takes on her bosses after they turn the company into a military supply outfit.

Ended up being frustrated with Godot's spacial audio, so I coded my own. It lets me set a range, change the falloff curve, set it as a oneshot, and makes it triggerable via code (as an option).

In the editor, I have a custom listening tool for player simulation.

Is there a way to force the editor to use an in scene AudioListener3D as opposed to the viewport camera's built in audio listener?

It's kind of impossible to balance audio in a 2.5d game. My gut says to make a Listener tool, but it won't let me in the editor.

Hi all #indiegame folks. Do you think it's too late for me to edit my finished game into a demo? It came out March 5th of this year and the way steam works, it hasn't been shown to anyone since summer.

I'm already working on large game #2 but I don't want to just let it flounder.

I find how different people code to be interesting. I am what I just have always called a "linguistic coder".

It flows like a series of verbal logic puzzles with detailed descriptors for each variable.

Some of yall's code scares me with it's numbers and x variables.

I had to fix a tunneling glitch, where an object's raycast would move past the collision between frames due to it's fast speed.

If any of you have had this problem, look into PhysicsRayQueryParameters3D. Saved my butt.

Rant: It feels like everything I'm good at is economically worthless. I feel like my value shouldn't come from my economic output. A desire to learn and grow doesn't pay the bills.

Because Rosie's Rampage is 2.5d, I sometimes have to make a toggable Faux wall for use in cutscenes.

Also, I'm messing with adding geometric detail with Boolean modifiers.
