S Spirits coming from the Abyss are so remote of the physical plane that their Existence/Presence is perpetually chipped away
Some go the hostile route of stealing, some find a more peaceful way taking some from willing living beings

Energy drink addiction at least can be weaponized to force us to go outside
and to cut sugar off everything else in our diet (bar natural ones like fruits)
(good thing we dont live in the US, apparently they put sugar EVERYWHERE, to pure excess. I get nausea just thinking of it. Ugh)

however the world is huge and mostly unknown, and no sentient specie controls it/is dominant. Even what is known is dangerous. And none of the characters are fighters
