I think letting children make books together gets them thinking in a lot of ways that inevitably lead to increased media literacy. Telling stories helps you to recognise stories elsewhere. Who is telling them? How are they being told? And why are they being told this way?

Details of Ryo. Initially I drew this upside down so they were plummeting but felt this orientation was more personal

Day 10 of drawing in October, following #PoorlyDrawnOctober prompt of Cats! I only drew one cat though, from a photo I took of my friend's cat curled up on some paper towel rolls.
