I was wondering if Jet got turned into a vampire during the orphanage attack, as I think we see him being attacked in the flashback.

I assume Feratu was the one who organised the orphanage attack - might be why he was running the orphanage...?

My second attempt at applying for a Blue Badge (first closed due to lack of evidence). Let's hope they at least consider it this time!

All the questions ask: Are you able to... then they suddenly change to "Are you unable to climb stairs?", which is very confusing!

My sister has appointed herself my Maid of Honour 🤣 (we're not really doing bridesmaids etc.) She's been over this afternoon for a wedding planning/organising brainstorm.

I really need to sort out some sort of timeline for getting stuff done by! Have a longer to-do list now...

Spoke slightly too soon, as I did get delayed chills/fever. Paracetamol for the win.

A few people I've spoken to have had a bit more of an immune response than normal to the vaccine strain this year.

Spent half the morning reminding myself how to use video tutorial recording software, recapping on the new Ebscohost literature database interface & recording a tutorial.

Had to scrap the finished recording as it had a high pitched whine in the background.

A bymovirus PCR primer and partial nucleotide sequence provides further evidence for the recognition of rice necrosis mosaic virus as a bymovirus - European Journal of Plant Pathology

Rice necrosis mosaic virus (RNMV) has physico-chemical and biological properties typical of the Bymovirus genus. However, to date no sequence data has been reported for RNMV. In this paper we report the use of a PCR primer, designed from an area of high homology between bymoviruses and related macluraviruses within the NIb gene, which generated a 1.4kb fragment from the 3' terminal region of RNA 1 of RNMV. The sequence data generated from this region confirmed the classification of RNMV as a member of the Bymovirus genus.
