It’s hard to express how deeply our country cares for #Vladdy. 🇨🇦🇩🇴

We watched him grow up on our ballfields, his dad playing for the Montreal Expos ‘96-‘03.

He’s played with the Blue Jays since his MLB debut in 2019.

He is arguably Canada’s most beloved athlete.

There’s no crying in baseball. 🥹

White people attending these “No Kings” gatherings need to appreciate the fact that Black people are keeping you safe from police, by largely staying in our homes.

Black people did not meet and discuss this. Strategic patriotism like this is part of who we are. Always has been. ✊🏽🇺🇸
