The Seattle Mariners are headed to the ALCS for the first time since 2001 and will face Toronto after Jorge Polanco walked off Detroit in the 15th inning. It was the longest winner-takes-all playoff game in MLB history. Amazing night, amazing series.

BTW, cool anecdote on that song from his auto-bio: they recorded everything else in like a day, but it took them ~2 weeks to get the last verse which was spoken word because he was always too drunk and slurring; they finally found a brief window of sobriety
