And if someone tries to hit me with 'well not everyone is as good at learning". I deeply believe that it would be much easier for much more kids if they read, slept and thought instead of being given tablets with tiktok at age 2.

I was asked questions about the plot of assigned reading which I only skimmed and talked about it with a friend and got a 5 (like A/B). I REWROTE parts of my essay ON THE SPOT during the lesson, because theacher told me I'm not on topic and I would have to change it to get a good grade. I did.

I wrote a 15 page report on heraldic symbolism in medieval armor and weapon design for my art history class the night before it was due (8am class). Made up 90% of it (only found one book for reference) and got an A. GenAI could fucking never.

wrote 20 pages on Faulkner's The Bear four hours before final papers were due on trucker pills and coffee and cigarettes and got an A, fuck you.
You people couldn't hang with real slackers.

Maybe not essays, but I finished homework 10min before the lesson or even real time as people were already reading parts of theirs. 25 minutes? If it's an essay, you need better time management, if it's an exercise, easy. Those people who need AI have no skills and they will not learn any

I can't wrap my head around how person famously resorting to practical effects in their film about war for water on ashes of a destroyed world is the one doing this, because someone told them it's just like the renaissance. They're all so scared of the mythical "being left behind"

I finally finished the game with ascension ending and I am very pleased. It's a very well written narrative, and easily one of my favourite romantic relationships in media, and I don't usually like them. Antea is a queen and I love fighting as her.

Tristan duelling. This character has a backstory of getting hit in the head by a bludger at 13, seriously injured. Looking at one of my photos from the LARP (nicknamed the dark art of flamenco) i decided he should always keep both arms high when duelling, as to protect the head

Honestly while I know people try to fight for rights these posts about leaving bluesky every few days feel like people who say this time surely there will be an apocalypse.
I'm not going anywhere, unless site becomes unusable like twitter. Chill out people, perfect social media does not exist.

If I have to try to explain his thinking I'd say he has this Thomas Aquinas logic, that sex and desire is weakness and women as the weaker creatures are inherently unable to control their urges with their "disgusting wetness" or how was it phrased. So generally, someone tell him being ace is okay

While testing outfit options for a wild west LARP I had a chance to dress up how my #Frostpunk character Charlotte would look before the frost. Ignore of course the lack of proper victorian structure and corset but the vibe is very much there.
