I love that phrase - "the magic of beginnings". For me, it's impossible not to be optimistic about starting something new, even a new working week (before I retired, obvs!). There's always promise in a new path. 🙂

I love that phrase - "the magic of beginnings". For me, it's impossible not to be optimistic about starting something new, even a new working week (before I retired, obvs!). There's always promise in a new path. 🙂

This is very evocative, but I stumbled briefly over the “5D”. I wondered what a five-dimensional bus ticket might signify! Then I realised it must mean 5 (old) pence. I don’t recall it ever being written in uppercase - it was always £sd, not £SD. Or perhaps I’m too old to remember clearly 🥴
This poem from Whatever You Do, Just Don't is for anybody who's had to clear a house, who's found objects that must have had significance for someone no longer here to tell their story....
