Have just emailed my MP with this. It sucks to say "I told you so", but this is the only way we get terrible laws like this changed.
Everyone in EU, UK or any US state with ID laws on the books [or even ones without them] should contact their representatives and mention this data breach specifically and [link the article if emailed]
