I don't know, seems bad for your ability and reputation as a journalist if you spent a lot of time during the current administration of a president in declining health not reporting on that but instead hawking your book on the declining health of a previous president who'll never be president again.

Don't know the final results here but looking like maybe a 15 pt swing toward the Dems from 2024. You absolutely can't extrapolate a special election to a midterm. But that kind of flip in a special is a Defcon 1, we're all going to die type warning for the House GOP.

Watching @alivitali.bsky.social and I’m begging folks to stop yielding to the idea that there are potential war crimes when there is no war— Congress hasn’t authorized military action. The DoD is simply ordering the execution of civilians in peace time. Crime against humanity is more apt.

The Trump administration is clearly anxious about tomorrow’s special election in Tennessee’s 7th District. Their rally was essentially a gathering of the MAGA elite in Tennessee. Donors, state representatives, five members of Congress, the governor, and then-Speaker Mike Johnson all flew in.
