it's kind of tough to rate lower difficulty things where it's fairly straightforward to full combo if you're decent, especially in a game as chaotic as this, so i tend to just go by rough density and add a bit if "the chart does something a bit weird", but the numbers clearly say "weird is fine!!"

the coolest thing about projekt godhand's dynamic play-based difficulty adjustment ktern came up with is that it helps with rating lowers...

i originally rated lhaksha 4 and the server recently said "bro this isn't even a hard *3*" and we kind of had to listen to it like 🤷 who are we to argue lmfao

Laundry Night

The pic has a slight fisheye view and we look straight ahead into the laundry room, where Aran kneels at the ground in front of a washing dryer in putting in some clothes and Tao is slightly behind him, half sitting half leaning at one of the tables and looking down at Aran and smiling. It looks like they could be in conversation and Tao is aging something funny and light hearted. The colors are more fee ish and blue and muted, with some bright fluorescent light on top and some green glow to emphasize the feeling of late night in a dingy little laundromat with neon lights. 🏀🦀
