Soooo…going through some of the reportage (reposted below), it seems like @mark-carney.bsky.social at social cost, knows pipeline is dead in the water, believes he’s negotiated Alberta to comply with industrial carbon $, but history shows Alberta under Smith ignores negotiated climate actions.

But to the chamber of commerce, he went on about how so many measures in both the MOU and the budget help to "de-risk" the idea of investing in a pipeline for a private investor.

Not inconsistent positions, but certainly different framing and emphasis!

Just watched Carney's conversation with the Calgary Chamber of Commerce and now I'm watching his response to reporter questions.

To reporters, he's saying if there's no private proponent there won't be a pipeline and that this MOU is about way more than a pipeline.

Trudeau-era environment minister Steven Guilbeault has published a resignation letter detailing the reasons for his departure from Carney's cabinet.

He directly cites today's MOU:

Mark Carney managed to trade a pipeline that will never get built for meaningful progress on industrial carbon pricing and electricity interties — both of which will get more wind and solar built.

@brainchain.ca The first book in The Q'Zam'Ta Trilogy, it starts with Charlotte Elisabeth's death. One reviewer: "The Soul's Awakening, with its strong prose and excellent balance of suspense and reflection, will stay with the reader long after the last page is turned. I was stunned by this book!"
Amazing news! The Soul's Awakening received The Word Award for General Market Fiction - Speculative!! A few times a finalist in The Word Guild's awards -- first time a winner!!🎖️💃🏼📚

@brainchain.ca Here's my post on Time and Space👇🏼, my favourite novel to write, and so far this year, my most popular one. It won the Literary Titan Gold Award recently, too.
"The novel, which contains a hidden message, engages readers while highlighting the unfair treatment of women in society. The author discusses male-dominated societies deprived of their rights. It is a thought-provoking book for fans of science fiction novels." 5⭐ #Kindle review

The problem with doing @mindaliveinc.bsky.social gamma brainwave audiovisual entrainment is it drops my blood pressure and I get cold. Brrrr. Of course, lower blood pressure is good. I just need to remember to pile on the woolens first!

I decided last night to not only go off outline but create an entirely new series of happenings for my beleaguered protagonist. Eek! I woke up with not an idea in my head about how to write it. SMR/Beta audiovisual training, coffee, fingers on keyboard, DONE! 3409 words for #NaNoWriMo.😅 #Writing

Fictionary can evaluate your chapter using AI that doesn't send your manuscript for LLM training. It just evaluates your story, not write it. It comes up with the most ridiculously long chapter titles (obviously not good for publication) but this one amuses: "Accountant faces a chocolatey dilemma."

You know, unconscious bias equates disability with lazy, weak, malingering. But be honest: it’s fucking terrifying & why ppl flee from us. Sure, we get used to disability. Fear retreats into anxiety waiting to snarl & bite when new 😱symptoms emerge cuz we’re sans protection of the herd. #BrainInjury
