The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Yeah, hugely disappointed by Shesez here. Sweet Baby Inc was not "designed to consult and steer more inclusion" into games. They are brought on purposefully as a second opinion on narrative by large studios. They're script doctors. There's no pressure campaign to hire them.

i think the most powerful skill you can learn as a neurodivergent person is learning to ask for stuff. learning that it's okay to ask things of your friends. not money or smth, im talking like. asking to hang out. asking for help with something you know they are skilled in. stuff like that

i am not a harvard administrator but if i had to guess i would say these cuts were in the offing once the first grad student union contract was signed (cf. BU) but all these government shenanigans gave them cover to slash students without looking like mustache-twirling gilded age magnates
