No. The Thing is a movie about a bunch of people who all distrust and hate each other trapped in one building as the tension between them slowly builds until it reaches a breaking point. It's a Thanksgiving movie.

Capitalism requires that we (working class people) "earn a living", which implies that we actually don't deserve to live unless we "earn" it by letting our surplus values be exploited by the capitalist ruling class. And this is all while having more than enough food, housing, etc., for everyone!
