i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!

one of the things that makes me most mad about genAI (and there are many) is we've been told there's not enough money for hiring. but there's billions poured into ai.

Needed something immediately after uni. Fell into something I was good enough at but had no upward motion.
Quit, went back to school. Couldn’t find work in field due to inability to network. Fell into something I was good enough at but had no upward motion. Too old and inexperienced for what I want.
