I have to stress how highly unusual it is for the most powerful military on the planet to be blowing up random boats in international waters.

I can’t help but feel that several criminal charges will ultimately come from these strikes.

It makes far more sense to interdict them.

Iowa HHS is alerting Iowans who use SNAP that due to the federal shutdown continuing, there is a possibility that November benefits will not be issued.

#Iowa SNAP currently serves approx 131,000 households per month and allocates around 45 million dollars in benefits, which are federally paid.

We don't need to convert every Republican. We can apply enough pressure where Congress grows a spine & a majority starts telling Trump, "No. You cannot do that," or, ideally, "Here are articles of impeachment."

We must make Republicans fear voters at the ballot box more than they fear Trump.

Where I believe we truly CAN make a difference is by shifting our focus on Republicans in Congress completely abdicating their responsibility as a check on the Executive in service of Dear Leader.

We can apply so much pressure that even those in gerrymandered districts fear losing their jobs.
