Only 43 days til spring. The cats have cozy shelters, plenty of food and water. But there's nothing like those first warm days of spring. While cleaning up after the storm we found a patch of bloodroot. We can't wait til we have bloodroot, trillium, spring beauty, and trout-lily everywhere.

We're getting a little break from cold temps here and it has given us a chance to change out hay, make sure shelters are at their very best, and just enjoy some sunshine.

Over the years we've had quite a few "Bobs," who we fed, provided shelter and medicine, and TNR'ed without ever having the chance to give them a cuddle.
They may never trust you fully. But we are sure they know they are loved and have a home now even if that doesn't mean we can touch them. 🐱❤️
