As someone who uses Patreon, this is so helpful, and it’s encouraging me to find another avenue for hosting my new independent work—one of the more important points Karl highlights is that the reader experience for comics on Patreon is really not great!
Posting this again because I’d like to encourage creators to please, PLEASE take control of your own destinies.

I think this is a good thing and (slowly) becoming more of the norm. It helps lock down your account better so if someone does get your login/password, they won't have access to your phone.
