Ehhhh right now the regime is using the guise of "illegals" and "terrorists" to create a flimsy disguise of legitimacy. If the plucking of these people off the streets is happening now, the next step is expanding the definitions. Do LGBTQ+ people fit? "Femenazis" with blue hair? Non-Binary folks?

Everytime I feel the existential dread of this situation I think back to the Dan Carlin excerpt about a Phillipines city watching the war approach from the coast and just living their usual lives. The strongest thing we can do now is build community with like minded people and defend the oppressed.
