I don’t do a lot of redraws but someone reposted this old spirk of mine the other day and I liked it so much I wanted to polish the idea. #spirk #spock #captainkirk

From Patreon: Abru'mafteruklarmaf-rumaf'lutmaf is a specific form of Vulcan theatre which utilizes masks so the performers don't have to express things but old stories that require emotion can still be performed...
Vulcan person with a crescent shaped mask held in front of them. "The Vulcan Ministry of Arts & Culture presents..." they say. They are expressionless but the mask is grinning wickedly. Surrounding them in a half-circle are six masks, all representing different states of emotion or archetypal characters in Vulcan theater. The word Abru'mafteruklarmaf-rumaf'lutmaf is woven between these images.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture was released 46 years ago today.

This film is truly unique within this franchise. I understand that it may not be the most accessible, but I love its tension, mystery, atmosphere, and curiosity.
