My thoughts today are "I wish we had what they have". I remember how we too had a young and progressive mayoral candidate who cleared the air in the room. Then he lost because the entire regime went up in arms. And then he got killed 10 years later.
I can only hope someone will do what he couldn't.

One of the weirder personal gripes with this website is how it needs constant connection to show the pages you already got loaded. I'm not refreshing it or anything, why does it go blank while I'm reading it?

the only frustrating thing about the (excellent) gnosia anime adaptation is that half of reddit seems to have taken it upon themselves to "solve" the setup as though it isn't already a well known game that people have been playing for decades (mafia/werewolf itself, not the gnosia game)

Sorry you're getting one posters rant this morning: losing my mind at this post I saw looking at funny pokemon pictures where all 200 of the comments are people going "Lol...they're so bad at design" AND THEYRE ALL TALKING ABOUT A LOW LOD MODEL USED FOR AERIAL SHOTS.....AAAAAAAA

Me when I have to translate baseball scenes in anime:
i don't mean to single out baseball fans here, because you see this in lots of fan communities, but in certain corners people talk as though baseball is real. they think all the players are real people and the stadiums are places you can actually visit. to each their own, but that cannot be healthy

The Korean language does not have a grammatical gender, nor do we normally use gendered pronouns. When I first wrote Blood for the Undying Throne, I came across a reader who mistook a character's gender and was caught off guard when she gave birth in the middle of the book. (1/n)
