wtf THIS is how I find out Dino Crisis is on Steam now. Still buying to support the release
Imagine putting DRM on a PS1 rerelease

Completed Panzer Dragoon Saga for the first time since 1998, on MiSTer.

Genuinely, the response from the broader American public recently has been so great to see. Maybe we’re not doomed to global fascism?
Wow! What sounded like the entire AEW Dynamite audience in Las Vegas tonight chanted "Fuck ICE! Fuck ICE!" in unison before the main event

As my first ever real RPG, this is such an important game to me. There’s also not really another game like it, so it’s still a really refreshing experience.

Searching for upcoming deathcore gigs in Southampton and Google AI is recommending me gigs that happened two years ago. This is what we gave up our RAM for.

Someone else on here said this and I can’t remember who, but abolishing ICE is now a moderate position. Putting them on trial for their crimes is a progressive position.

As someone who listens to deathcore and often wonder why so many death metal fans hate it when it’s so similar, someone pointed me to Freud’s Narcissism of Small Differences and suddenly so much of life has been explained for me.

Minneapolis is the front line against fascism, the rest of us should watch and learn.

Gigs I’ve been to this year, or have tickets for. Trying to go to as many as I can, and keep track of supports.

I think Minneapolitans are an absolute inspiration to the rest of the world, showing the rise of the far right is not inevitable and we can and should stand up to them.
I came to Minneapolis to report on what's going on, and one of the main questions I showed up with is "just what is the scale of the resistance?" After all, we're all used to the news calling Portland a "war zone" or whatever when it's just some protests in one part of town.

When people say AI is inevitable, it’s only inevitable if people actually allow it to be.

I adore tiny music venues, this place I went to last night was barely bigger than a living room!

This is Larcenia Roe, who supported for Born of Osiris last night.

Cryptopsy gig last night
January 19, 2026 at 11:21 AM
One of my plans this year was to start going to gigs again, so here I am. I don’t dwell on this but I used to go with my dad to metal and punk gigs so it’s a bit sobering being here by myself without him. Luckily my son had started taking an interest in my music, so one day he can come with me.

Just put on some big black cargo pants for the Cryptopsy gig tonight.

“Daddy why are you wearing Y2K trousers.”

fml what does that even mean 🙁

EMNW shirt is here. It looks massive but it’s only an M. They don’t even make S size.

Replaying Panzer Dragoon Saga for the first time since 1998 and it’s still utterly fantastic. There’s not really another RPG like it so it still feels fresh and unique. It deserves its reputation.

Installed Dual SDRAM to my MiSTer so I can properly use the Saturn and Jaguar cores. Looks a bit janky now but it’s still mindblowing to have so many consoles condensed into such a small box.

Looking to rebuy a Dreamcast and surprised how expensive they seem to be these days. Significantly more than a PS2.

Apparently the top of right stick of the Switch Pro Controller 2 is very slightly thinner than the left stick. Do what you want with that information.

Absolutely blows my mind that Saturn fully works on MiSTer. Panzer Dragoon Saga is such an important game to me. In 1998 it was my first ever RPG - I didn’t even understand what ‘levels’ and ‘exp’ were!
