As someone who enjoyed the first Star Wars Racer game (but not the second), I’m delighted to hear about Star Wars Galactic Racer.

Gonna be the first free Epic game I do not claim.
Epic pays for licensing fees for the games they give away for free as promotions. Which means even if YOU aren't paying for it, you're giving money to JK Rowling to harm transgender people AND elevating her stature by giving her franchise higher numbers.

NO TERF WIZARD GAME. NO TERF WIZARD SHOW.
Hogwarts Legacy is free on Epic Games Store. Mystery game is the next title buff.ly/HE94Ti2

PSA: The Outer Worlds and its expansions are being delisted from GOG on the 15th, so if you want to get DRM-free copies of any of those, now’s the time.

I always wish LRG would be a bit more ambitious with their collections, like including the N64 and Dreamcast games. Digital Eclipse really push out the boat with stuff like that.
Fighting Force Collection (PS5/Switch) Standard/Deluxe up for preorder on LRG on Dec 12th buff.ly/FiCXZln

I think Skyrim on Switch 2 still being locked to 30 is pretty inexcusable.

I’m wary of nostalgia and over-glamourising the past, but we are being railroaded towards a future where we will own nothing yet pay monthly for everything - until we die if we don’t want to lose it, unless they take it away for their own reasons. No wonder people are wising up to it.

Not liking how Prime 4 is feeling like a boss rush at the moment

Handheld PCs really are the ideal way to play decompilation projects.

Just a quick heads-up that the YouTube yearly recap thing uses AI as you might expect.

I can’t believe I initially passed on Hyrule Warriors as ‘not my thing’. It’s on track to be my most played Switch 2 game.

Me with my 5800X3D / 32GB RAM / 4080S while AI completely destroys the PC industry by gobbling up all the DRAM.

Helldivers 2 wtf.

“We are happy to report that, thanks to our partners at Nixxes, we have reached that goal much sooner than expected. By completely de-duplicating our data, we were able to reduce the PC installation size from ~154GB to ~23GB, for a total saving of ~131GB (~85%).”

Thinking I might need to get a 2TB HDD for eXoWin9x, eXoWin3x and eXoDOS since they’re huge. SSD maybe overkill.

I think there's ways to approach this. People deserve to be paid for their labour. For example. I think critisising Nintendo for charging for Switch 2 updates was unfair given the elapsed time.

On the other hand, Pokemon getting paid DLC a few weeks after launch felt slimy.
Gamers: I hate micro transactions, they shouldn't exist.

Also gamers: every single game should get regular updates and new content for years after release, without me having to pay for it.

Personally I don't like the predatory microtransactions, but I think extra money for extra content is fine.

I sometimes think about getting a used Switch Lite as a cosy small companion to my Switch 2 for when I want something smaller… but then I remember how annoying the draconian Virtual Game Card / Primary/Secondary device system that Nintendo use and it puts me off.
