I feel like hell has frozen over as I agree with Rand Paul more these days.
Rand Paul on mid-decade redistricting: "I think it's gonna lead to more civic tension & possibly more violence in our country. Think about it: if 35% of Texas is solidly Democrat & they have 0 representation, how does that make Democrats feel? I think it makes them feel they're not represented"

This is getting lost: For weeks Trump officials had the option to remove Abrego Garcia to Costa Rica, but refused to do so. Instead they kept trying to send him somewhere more dangerous. Costa Rica wasn't cruel and dehumanizing enough.

If the Coast Guard boarded unlawfully (wrong ship, incorrect intel, no jurisdiction), that can create diplomatic/legal issues. So naturally, you’ll have some substantive evidence to support boarding, which is not the same as blowing up a boat and then killing helpless people. But what do I know?
If the US Coast Guard stops a ship in international waters and seizes their cocaine, is that a war crime? The ship has not done anything illegal. Should we prosecute the Coast Guard Captain for piracy?
