You know what they’re going to store in those warehouses?

People
In the last month ICE has bought warehouses in:

- Hagerstown, MD: $102 million
- Surprise, AZ: $70 million
- Hamburg, PA: $87 million
- Tremont, PA: $120 million
- San Antonio, TX: $82 million
- El Paso, TX: $123 million
- Social Circle, GA: price unknown

This is unprecedented.

ICE has now spent over half a BILLION dollars just on purchasing warehouses around the country to convert into detention camps.

If these mega-camps are utilized to the full capacity ICE intends, they'll be the largest prisons in the country, with little real oversight. www.ajc.com/politics/202...

Dr. Pandora Oz: Well, whether or not I opened that box, you should really pay attention to that thing that's fluttering out of my mouth right now.
BASH: Is this measles outbreak a consequence of the administration undermining support for vaccines?

DR OZ: I don't believe so. Secretary Kennedy has been advocating for measles vaccines

BASH: Oh, come on

No.

How about we remember this moment from two weeks ago while we ponder the current absence.

Why are the comedy team of Witkoff and Kushner the lead negotiators on …. ANYTHING???

No Senate approval. No confirmation process.

The only expertise these two have is the ability to enrich themselves.

I’m not sure we’ve properly addressed how profoundly disturbing it is that America can largely shrug at the stashing of human beings in giant warehouses.

Well then.

This is for anyone who needs to become acquainted with the remarkable work of Gladys Mae West.
No joke: I got angry hate mail today for writing an obituary of a Black woman scientist—because the person felt she did didn’t deserve the recognition.

Which just makes me want to share it again: www.nature.com/articles/d41...
Gladys Mae West obituary: mathematician who pioneered GPS technology
She made key contributions to US cold-war science despite facing huge barriers as a Black woman.

Can anybody explain to me why I keep on seeing posts from a weather station in Cambodia in my feed?

No, I have not clicked on a single post from that account. But "raspberry pi" is starting to live rent free in my head.

No? Then how in the hell can you say Russia is winning?!
