I also confess that the new Pennywise bothers me in a similar way. The smile makeup turning up into the eyes feels too 'horror design-y' to look like a genuine vintage clown. Which is a shame because the rest of the costume and the performance is otherwise perfect.

My vote is Annabelle - her design feels way too "scary" in a try-hard way, and it ruins any believability that it's a real vintage doll that happens to be haunted.

- Regency Solitaire 1 & 2 have a nice story.
