I do love that retro was so excited about the art director they hired for their version when development first shifted.
The art direction is amazing and does a LOT of heavy lifting for prime 4. It’s just very cute that even back then they knew this guy was absolutely gonna cook.

I’m sure stuff like the desert and the general direction did force them into a bind in a lot of places, but at this point I think that retro also just did an unnecessarily poor job of picking up the pieces.

Like what, Bandai Namco’s 2-3 years on the game was so far along that retro simply HAD to include the green energy grinding?
So far along that they couldn’t improve the dialogue, have fast travel, or come up with a better name than green energy?
