Poet and grandpa. It’s taken too many years for me to finally say that out loud. (Not the part about being a grandpa.) Living in Wisconsin.
The fulfilment of a dream that began more than 30 years ago. My first collection of poetry has been published!

Writers and artists take note.
“As far as we can discern, the sole purpose of human existence is to kindle a light of meaning in the darkness of mere being.”

A free and democratic society cannot silence comedians because the President doesn’t like what they say.

This is an attack on free speech and cannot be allowed to stand.

All elected officials need to speak up and push back on this undemocratic act.

So worth reading!
‘The men and women who attempted to transform Spain in 1936, to elevate its people from grinding, desperate poverty, to reimagine the human condition, were led to the pit by people whose heads were filled with hateful nonsense by the Charlie Kirks of their time.’

Am I, a poet, really going to throw some more words onto the pile about the shooting of Charlie Kirk?
