When you’re losing hope.

Take a deep breath.

Close your eyes.

Think back to when this guy was your president.

When you could associate the presidency with class, decency and integrity.

Now open your eyes

And fight like hell to get someone like him back in office again.

Ten countries have launched investigations related to the released Epstein files.

Norway, UK, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Sweden, Australia, North Macedinia, Turkey, Poland.

Conspicuously absent is the United States, the epicenter of this scandal.

We know why.

Everything you’re hearing from the Trump administration is a lie. Today was one of the most active days in Northeast since the entire Operation Metro Surge began.

Nothing is changing on the ground in Minneapolis, no matter what headlines Trump and Homan try to create.

Swear to god, ICE could just announce they're leaving a city but not leave and the media will just stop covering that city completely even though ICE never left.

It's what ICE and the media did with LA and they're doing it with Minneapolis too

Probably not even enough for polling places in the presumed "swing" states. Maybe, if they are very careful, they can stand up people in the most anti-Trump precincts in the most anti-Trump cities in the purplest states.
There aren't enough ICE agents out there that can guard every polling location. Good luck with that, you vermin infested, rotting sack of shit.

Always remember THEY DO NOT HAVE ENOUGH GUYS. In the realm of Online, they can just say things and have them treated as true. In the realm of Real Life, there are 115,000 polling places in America and DHS has like 15,000 dudes total.

Excellent piece by Walt Hunter in @theatlantic.com. I've always read, but not always challenging books. In retirement I do more of that. I found "Les Miserables" terrific. "Don Quixote" will require a couple library checkouts with other stuff in between.

@radiolab.bsky.social is one of my favorite podcasts. I consistently come away having learned something fascinating. A key takeaway in this episode is that the cerebellum behaves like a conductor, helping the person sequence movements or thoughts in a fluid way.
Just to provide a brief respite from the horror, this week's episode of Radiolab is truly wonderful and worth a listen (even if you might not love the cerebellum as much as I do)

Yet another example of the total incompetence of the regime. You have to wonder if they even glanced at the photos before including them in the dump.
It's hard to explain except that probably DOJ had to limit the number people with access to the files to control who actually knows what the files say about . . . certain people.
