favorite customers of the day (so far): two adorable, enthusiastic older ladies who were absolutely gushing about the shop, but rushing to get to their show (book of mormon) at the theater next door. they were madly in love and using copious mushy pet names and had to 'make friends' with all of 1/2

my most woke entomology opinion, backed by studies in the field, is Fuck your traditional lawn.
america has caused so much damage to beneficial bugs by encouraging pesticides & chemicals; all to have a lawn that looks as artificially green as their neighbors. + raking leaves is especially harmful!!

been meaning to do an update re: my fundraising post and realized today that was NINE MONTHS AGO.............
anyway, thanks to a frankly humbling amount of wonderful people (mostly from bsky), i was able to raise enough for our bankruptcy attorney, got thru the whole case, and it finally got (1/4)
