ICE pepper-sprayed him, dragged him from his car, locked him in a detention center, and placed him on suicide watch. He even missed his young daughter’s birthday in the process.

This man is a veteran and American citizen. Don't look away.

They need to raise the income level and update the circumstances that qualify for affordable housing. Not everyone needing a 2-BR or larger apartment has multiple incomes.

Rents on 2-bedroom and up are based on assumption that there is dual income, which is not always the case.

I know it was a nightmare for everyone during Covid, put maybe it’s time to do virtual schooling for a while. Or offer a dial in option for families who are scared to send their kids to school.

A restraining order was issued YESTERDAY by a federal judge barring detention of journalists in this district unless they refuse to reposition themselves and are given adequate time to do so, or there’s probable cause they’ve committed a crime.
