I had the opportunity to visit another one of "my" towns. This time, it was Bernartice, whose #coatofarms and #flag I designed earlier this year. This small town holds a surprising story. The prominent feature in its coat of arms, an unfinished bridge, (1/6) #heraldry #vexillology
number of towns with arms containing gates/castles make for unoriginal flags. The town itself is a typical castle town, snaking up towards the castle on a hill. The angle of this photo is from the one direction where the town is completely hidden by forests, leaving only the castle unobscured. (2/2)
