If that fighter jet is out of shit can someone re-load it with sausage gravy these biscuits are dry af
That would be an amazing happening-style protest: every protestor nationwide dressed corporate employee style, or just wearing their normal work uniforms. I.e. these are people who go to work every day, keep the economy running, & pay taxes.
I assume once Trump finds out about it, the lien will disappear & Justice will prevail. A tax cheat AND a "reliable ally"? -- no way Trump will let such a good man down.
Perfectly normal...shit...for the "leader of the free world" to be posting. I'm disgusted & embarrassed. How can world leaders take this buffoon & his clown crew seriously?...oh, yeah, 5000 nuclear warheads

👀 someone calling out big law firm complicity and cowardice
The standard red/blue electoral map makes it appear that scattered blue enclaves are hopelessly surrounded by overwhelming red. It misrepresents reality by ignoring population & I think encourages anti-democracy antics in red states. Use a "land doesn't vote, people do" visualization instead.
So the US can afford $40B to prop up Argentina's failing "austerity" economy -- bc Trump likes the country's dumbass leader -- but can't afford loan forgiveness for US students. Priorities, right?
Wonderfully sophisticated, granular analysis that confirms the sense we all get from daily headlines: Supreme Court is actively enabling Trump's deconstruction of constitutional law, despite valiant efforts of lower courts to preserve law & order.
In short, AI has no concept of anything a human understands intuitively from a lifetime of embodied experience.
I recently asked Google AI how one person alone could safely move a dresser up a flight stairs. The answer was a weird amalgam of the concept of pushing it up the steps on furniture blankets & lowering it down the steps using ratchet straps, etc.
It's ironic, bc porn, being so prevalent online, was one of the first massive AI training sets. That's why version 1 of all the AI image generators made women look very porny by default. They had to work hard on later versions to train the porn OUT of LLMs, to get more realistic results
Imagine a US regulator, politician or businessman referring to 100+ yrs of Hollywood movies & television as a "national treasure" instead of "content." That's half the problem here, the attitude that allows AI to digest generations of a popular artform. It's just fodder for making $ by any means.
Incredible that anyone -- even Gym Jordan -- can go on bloviating, with a straight face, about Biden's DOJ being weaponized...after 9 months of Trumpland shows us clearly, in detail, how a *truly* weaponized DOJ, under a totally partisan AG, operates. Please shut up, Gym.
I wish I knew what happened to the Ohio where I grew up in the 1970s. Was I just too young & oblivious to notice it was already going downhill? Maybe all the smart people left when the factories closed? Now I'm embarrassed to admit I have roots there.
And your point is? I'm defined by who I follow? That's apparently the Bluesky way to label & cancel people. You think I only follow people I agree with 100%? Such bs is why there's no intelligent debating on Bluesky, only jerking off to the vibes of the hive mind.

“Conservative” implies that you either wants things to change slowly, or not at all.

MAGA Republicans want to turn back the clock on the last hundred years of progress. We need to stop calling them conservatives and call them what they are, regressives.
You have just experienced the Bluesky effect. See, if you try to say anything, no matter how logical, that contradicts the BS orthodoxy (in this case: that ALL law enforcement is evil & must be abolished) you will be persecuted by random ideologues. Debate is impossible. Have fun!

Here's a tip: in the USA, artifacts of all kinds are retained in the Museums system, not by History Offices. The USA has eliminated nearly 2/3rds of the USA museums. Their stuff has to go somewhere. Also? Neither the DoS people who 'prepared' the list nor the current Mrs. Trump had/have a clue.

Sometimes it seems we're really building a future that nobody wants, but we're doing it anyway because a few people want to be richer.
“...an inexcusable strategic risk to concentrate so many leaders in the operational chain of command in the same publicly known time and place, to convey an inane message of little merit.” #hegseth

The flew the entire military leadership in so they could see for themselves that the Secretary of Defense is a mouthbreathing dipshit and the Commander in Chief is a senile, weak old man who might keel over at any moment.
Maybe Hegseth's Convocation of the Generals will convince the brass that their blathering, senile, idiot Commander in Chief must be removed from office asap by a military coup. I'm not sure a military government would be worse than what we have now.
Russ Vought has been waiting for four years to implement his vision of supreme executive power. If it feels like the current fight isn’t about health care or insurance subsidies but about our system of government itself, that’s because it is.

The Government Has Been Shut Down for Months
Today is the day we stop pretending that it’s not.

Honestly, 2002 vs 2025? ...I'll take 2002, Walmart or not. It's not that 2002 was a great year or Bush was a good president or whatever. It's that 2025 sucks so bad, in every way possible. Plus the drugs (excluding weed) were a lot better in 2002
If Trump has power to "work his magic" on Netanyahu, the time to have demonstrated that was *before* Israel turned Gaza into a militarized wasteland & created a humanitarian catastrophe. Talk about closing the barn door after the horse runs away.
