My goodness I've gotten a lot of followers recently. Hello! Thanks for the follow! I'm Tanner (they/them), and I enjoy talking about MtG, Power Rangers, and Digimon.

Fun fact about the Salvation Army: they use a form of substance use treatment called work therapy. Oh, and by treatment, I mean they have people who have been convicted of drug charges work for their stores & warehouses in exchange for room, board, around a $1 a week, and minimal actual therapy.

In case you missed it, our latest episode looked at...just...a profoundly silly episode of glee that's set up such a wild false dichotomy and created an abysmal episode of television. Hopefully it's a good episode of podcast though!

helpful advice i've received about social media alt text is considering how i'd describe the image to someone in the room if they asked me what i was reacting to. probably not just "a meme". but probably also not a four minute description of what each simpson looks like before i get to the punchline

When writing alt text, focus on what's truly important. In an image with text about a canceled event, the borders of the image are not nearly as vital as conveying that this event is now canceled. A decorative border can be mentioned, but it's not the most important element; the cancellation is.
