I signed up for this new service to remove personal info from broker databases. Not trivial & I had to provide a fair amount of info to prove my identity, even though I already have a login dot gov account. Time will tell the squeeze/juice ratio. FWIW, I already have an EasyOptOuts account.
Those in California can now go here to request that data brokers delete their data: privacy.ca.gov/drop/

This is a good thing, however, it’s far from a complete solution. 🧵
