Correct, Claude was the only one to refuse all our prompts asking to "undress" a picture of a woman. ChatGPT wouldn't put her in a swastika bikini, but had no issues putting her in a normal bikini.

I've been calling out Yarvin for ~15 years, and people used to think *I* was crazy for describing these guys' vision for destroying the federal government & disenfranchising voters. When he came after me personally (the blog post is still up!), people backed away saying they "didn't want drama". So.
often see curtis yarvin's name online. only thing i know about him is that he looks like this dog

A reminder that the US killed 80 people in Venezuela, and it would be nice if the US media cared enough to think that the life of a grandmother in Caracas whose building is destroyed by a US bomb matters as much as the life of a person in the US.

I just discovered this Science & Futurism podcast by this guy named Isaac Arthur. It's just this super smart, seemingly very nice guy with a relaxing voice riffing about cosmology and physics and sci-fi concepts. He puts out an episode like every 3 days and I've enjoyed every episode so far.
Science & Futurism with Isaac Arthur
Science & Futurism with Isaac Arthur explores the long-term future of humanity through space exploration, advanced technology, and big-picture science. Each episode examines how civilization may grow ...

This should not be shrugged aside. They have stopped with the fake 22 million illegal immigrants things and are flat out saying we want to deport 10's of millions of citizens and legal residents from "third world countries" Basically they are advocating removing 1/3 of the population on a gov site.

Well
Reading headlines about the US massing forces to Venezuela and ”what is Trump’s aim with the troops ?” reminds me of a certain other country that massed troops at a neighbour’s border 4 years ago and headlines were wondering what Putin’s aim could possibly be

Btw, the big story overhanging all of this is that US government is deadly serious in its stated plans to dominate and control the western hemisphere. Take the threats against Greenland very seriously indeed.

Regarding this thread I made some time ago, "how far will Trump escalate his strikes against Venezuela" is, incidentally, still a relevant question, because as of now, we're only seeing the first stage.
By now, the question is not so much as "will Trump strike?", but rather, "how far will he escalate his strikes".

I'll stick to my earlier prediction that this is also somehow linked to the on-going progress of the Ukraine peace plan.

I don't know. You don't know either.

It sure would be nice to have a legitimate Pentagon press corps right about now.

Noticing that so much Bluesky content is:

- a comment

- on a repost of essentially the same comment

- on an article

Which is making me want to spend more time simply reading articles.

Bluesky is the comment section in exile.

A Hampton Inn in Asheville just canceled my family's reservation because our address (incorrectly) showed Asheville—and the hotel bars locals within 50 miles.

When I asked why, they said, "because of our homeless population," adding that most hotels here have similar policies.

This is outrageous.
