The International Olympic Committee decision to ban Ukraine’s Vladyslav Heraskevych is a textbook example of the Streisand Effect. Without the ban, nobody would have noticed his helmet honouring Ukrainian athletes killed by Russia. Thanks to the ban, it has made global headlines
