I'm Kiwi, a fat feminine deer and an artist of a few sorts. I'm unlikely to be very active on this site.
My most prolific works are videos, and stories/writing (mostly fats).

not strictly relevant but I support the agenda that vaporeon is inherently Girl
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
It can be meaningful to see a stranger's similar experiences to one's own (that's why I'm replying after all) but - again, as you've identified - actually fruitful instances of that are few and far between.

This is all assuming I'm not just projecting my own thoughts onto your unrelated ones!, ^w^;
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
Actually quick addendum: I think the problem is that social media takes personal relation out of interaction, thus losing the majority of its meaning.

It is intimate to complain about a bad experience to a friend. It is comparatively hollow to be subjected to a stranger's irrelevant experiences
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
(I hope this didn't come across as aimless whinging >w> I'm just glad to read someone express something similar to my feelings, and was compelled to express my thoughts)
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
In a sense I speak from a place of privilege - I've never had a substantial audience or fanbase, and have no need or obligation to maintain a public presence. This may not be true of you.

Either way, I hope your relationship to it has improved/will improve with the perspective you've outlined c:
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
The positive comments I got - and I got a couple! - were very gratifying. It was not worth all the bile.

Point is: I feel my own thoughts/experiences are echoed here. Social media is exhausting. It enables and evokes a compulsion to unconstructively talk about everything. It jades people.
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
In practice, this meant that every attempt of mine to explore cohost resulted in either:
1. being deeply stressed from internet conflict (campster of errant signal puts it great here: web.archive.org/web/20250107...)
2. feeling empty because little to none of my time scrolling had *any* value
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
Design intent or not, people use these sites as compulsive vessels for reaction. Not every opinion is considered or knowledgeable enough to warrant publication - many of them should be relegated to a chat with friends. Yet these sites condition us to pretend that they're of any particular value
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
I was on cohost for almost its entire public life, and I think my takeaway is that social media like Twitter is borderline useless for socializing & harmful to one's relationship with thought. It just isn't healthy to encourage/enable 'reaction' in this kind of way, or at least not for me

in my experience policing watch history didn't improve recommendations in the slightest, hence quitting
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
lol I did this for years before just giving up and turning watch history off altogether. My home page is now just blank & I have a browser extension that disables all recommendations. It's honestly blissful by comparison

I made a simplified version of this graphic for low vision and/or neurodivergent folks, and anyone else who might benefit! Please let me know if any changes need to be made for accessibility and thank you to the OP!
USPS letter mailing guide: www.usps.com/ship/letters...
#SaveSpeech Physical Mail Guide

Based on dieselbrain.bsky.social's infographic, and information on
stop-paypros.neocities.org and yellat.money

Why physical mail?

Payment processors have begun showing resistance to phone calls (hanging up, changing numbers, verbal abuse). In addition to continued phone pressure, we are now adding physical mail as another pressure point. Tips (bulleted list)
(Bullet one) If you are able, it is ideal to write letters by hand for larger impact, but printed letters are an effective alternative
(Bullet two) Writing your own letter in your own voice is ideal, but scripts are available to copy or reword
(Bullet three) Be polite and do not make any threats
(Bullet four) Within the US, a return address is not required and is only used when the mail is deemed not deliverable. You can drop your letters off at any USPS blue collection box or post office location for increased anonymity
(Bullet five) Supplies: Use whatever you have, or purchase the necessary envelopes and paper for cheap at a dollar store. Some have successfully recycled cardboard trash to make postcards. Stamps are available online at USPS.com or any postal store, including self-serve kiosks. Talking Points (bulleted list)

(Bullet one) Express concern over payment processors attempting to control what fully legal items adults are allowed to buy
(Bullet two) Content “guidelines” are vague, unclear, and disallow content that is legal in fiction or between consenting adults
(Bullet three) These policies have been targeting LGBTQ+ content (Stripe specific: Express concern over anti-LGBTQ+ comments made by multiple customer service representatives)
(Bullet four) Urge them to cut ties with far-right groups pushing for censorship like Collective Shout, Exodus Cry, GOSRN, and NCOSE (Morality in Media)
(Bullet five) These actions are harming legitimate, legal businesses, LGBTQ+ individuals and minority groups, and limiting artistic and consumer freedoms
(Bullet six) You will support any position or legislation that will put restrictions on what the company and other payment processors are able to do List of addresses for Stripe, Mastercard, PayPal, and Visa. The contents of the list are as follows:

It's finally out so I can finally unveil it: I've been working on a gamejam project!
I was mostly the person in charge of the art, so I have to thank the huge work that @jamorphous.bsky.social and @squishykirobsi.bsky.social did for the project!
I hope some of you try it out if you're curious!

no, no-- woman who has to stuff her engorged gut 24/7 *because* it sounds like a jacuzzi bubble jet. "even if" suggests that's a deterrent, which is simply untrue for a refined woman such as herself
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
I felt the need to clarify that I agree with the original post because this is Twitter in all but name, and I can absolutely imagine someone making a nonsensical "rebuttal" like "ummm but what about all the other groups it applies to..... you don't even care.."
squishykirobsi.bsky.social
This is true of any demonized group, as far as I can tell. Appealing to the sensibilities of those who hate you will just make you an exception. And then that's your identity. You become a begrudging exhibit of the "civility" your group otherwise lacks.

(saying this in agreement, to be clear)

I guess in that sense it could also make the person eat more to compensate, so they actually digest a usable amount of nutrients despite the skewed ratio…
