got up what i call "early" (bc of my work schedule) for a spravato consult and learned I definitely can't do it at this practice bc they don't take my insurance and the copay for a full course is $10000... also it's an hour away. not giving up but damn

Azotobacter vinelandii was isolated in Vineland, NJ. streptomycin (first antibiotic effective against tuberculosis and Gram negatives) was discovered here. the bacterium that makes it (Streptomyces griseus) is our official state microbe

everyone I've talked to who hasn't spent a meaningful amount of time in NJ thinks it's all petrochemical plants and NYC landfills and highways/freeways and then they're astonished to see how it looks like where i live. forest paradise. 5 seconds in the pine barrens would turn their brain inside out

frankly it's not NJ's fault that ignorant masses judge it solely off the stretch you pass through while connecting from EWR to LGA (North Jersey slaps, Newark slaps, best Portuguese food around amongst other treasures, here I'm talking about that stretch of highway with all the petrochemical stuff)

the entire time i had to live in MA it felt like a massive step down from NJ and everyone i confessed this to acted like i had just stabbed them in the chest. they were all wrong though

babe we need to get you some really good shoe inserts (i think CVS has one of those weird foot measurers for finding the best kind???). good ones work like a fucking miracle and they can def help w pain from standing all the time

i know other ppl have it worse, i know body problems get way worse than all of my experience up to now (believe me i live in fear of that), I just find my specific misfortunes comedic, especially like the big picture, it's just ridiculous

i also have hypermobile ankles, JUST my ankles for some stupid fucking reason, so I cant run without bracing those too

bought a carpal tunnel brace to wear off work and it's helping re: the body shattering ergonomics, but i still need to deal with the other arm's carpal tunnel, and the tennis elbows, and the weekly fibro flare ups, and my back brace no longer being a sufficient band-aid for my post accident pain
