biggest relief of all fucking time, called UHC and found out they're just giving me the temp card early, date printed on the temp card is not valid or accurate (???) and coverage starts 11/1 like it was suppose to. PHEW. I really need this appointment on Monday bc I urgently need med refills

I'm losing my goddamn mind. I have spent months untangling a gnarly complicated health insurance situation, thought I JUST solved everything today, and then my job goes "hey here you go here's your new insurance card, dated to today, for the insurance we said you'd get on 11/1"

my Mom snuck Halloween decorations into my room while i was at work. look at this wacky little scene

When I got Moderna in February 2025 it literally yanked me out of 7 years in remission. After that I found all the clinical studies suggesting protein vaccines are the safest bet with hidradenitis 🙃

its a fucking miracle that last month I carelessly got an mRNA booster instead of Novavax, but I didn't get another nightmare hidradenitis flare up requiring urgent care. no idea how that would have shook out w insurance, and when you need antibiotics and drainage, you need antibiotics and drainage
