I also believe that circumlocution causes wordiness.

No idea what JFK Jr. is on about but I do believe circumnavigation causes colonialism!

He's up for the POS Prize but he's even got stiff competition for that.

Tuesday #Vancouver City Council approved mass rezoning of 4,292 parcels of land in #BroadwayPlan area. Unclear if Broadway Plan developments awaiting rezoning to CD-1 have now been rezoned to the mass-rezoning's new tower zoning: "R5-high-rise". Clarity from @cityofvancouver.bsky.social appreciated.

#Homeless binner friend made great point that #BCGEU strike could mean big sales boost for any local breweries in #Vancouver & across #BritishColumbia which do their own deliveries to liquor stores - such as 33 Acres, Parallel 49, Red Truck Beer, Strathcona Beer, etc. bsky.app/profile/sqwa...
sqwabb.bsky.social
#BCGEU strike is trickling down. #BritishColumbia govt liquor stores are all closed, reducing consumer options. Private liquor stores in & around #Vancouver's South Granville area are already running out of certain brands & binners think they're already noticing fewer beer cans!

Maybe not explicitly, but U.S. President Eisenhower sent federal troops to Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1957 to enforce desegregation of Central High School, overriding the state's governor's objections, following U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in Brown v. Board of Education.
