Chaco Canyon was a cultural center for the ancestral Puebloans between 900 - 1150-, known for its "great house" structures, road systems, and sophisticated astronomical alignments. This World Heritage Site was a hub for trade and ceremony, housing up to 5,000 people, before its decline in the 1100s.

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.
The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

In Monrovia, California, protesters are purchasing 17¢ ICE scrapers from Home Depot and immediately returning them to create long lines and slow down the entire store. Their aim is to disrupt sales and convey a message opposing ICE raids occurring in their neighborhood.
