This video took a while to make but it’s finally out! A lot of the capture work for Part 2 is complete as well. I’ll finish that after the holiday! Enjoy.

Discovering Half-Life in 1998 was an unforgettable moment. I already loved narrative-driven first-person shooters (Dark Forces), but this game convinced me that I would get lots of great games in this genre in the future (and that turned out to be true).

The introduction in the tram was a...

I had no idea Brad Bird co-wrote this movie! Awesome.

I'm glad to see the Fallout series back (especially without having to wait three years). It's nice how certain storylines resonate with current events. It's not just war that never changes.

The Orion browser has a feature I have been wanting for years. Years, I tell you! You can have each Profile set to run in its own instance of the browser. Two profiles = Two separate dock icons. #OrionBrowser #Kagi

It seems as though we are rapidly reinventing the early days of AOL and CompuServe, where platforms want the entirety of their users' online experience to exist solely within their own walls.
Of course I hate it, this is the opposite of what I love on Internet.

Sharing hyperlinks is (one of) the basis of the world wide web.

If the problem is the quality of the links, moderation could exist, but billionaires don't like that for reasons.
WOW! Major change being tested on Facebook

Some will love this. Many will HATE it!

Facebook is testing limiting the number a links people can share without a Meta Verified subscription

Some users will be limited to sharing just TWO links per month in organic posts, without a Mera Verified account

I can. not. believe. just how much faster the Face Recognition in Lightroom Classic is on my M4 mini (with everything on SSD's) compared to my Intel iMac. It's incredible. #LightroomClassic

Look what they are selling at Barnes & Noble!

I worked so hard on this cover and freaked out when I saw it on the shelf. And it had premium placement! 😭

Part of the fun of these kinds of illustrations in context is the janky, home made feel of the graphics. Having them be “photorealistic” is boring. Let’s hope The Daily Show/John Oliver/The Onion do not follow suit.
SNL used AI art tonight, multiple times.

Booooooo.

This is really good.

Also, I'm a pretty big Cameron fan, and I didn't know how much he seems to love Carpenter's "Halloween".

I've loved Sigourney Weaver ever since one of my all-time favorite movies, ALIEN. Couldn't resist going all fanboy on her yesterday & asking for a photo. She told me she's now in the cast of The Mandalorian. Talk about bad timing: she's now in that galaxy far, far away, years after I checked out! 💔

I'm about 80% through reading The Godfather. It's...well, it's certainly not what I expected, that's for sure. The sheer amount of side-questing contained in these pages is certainly not what I was prepared for.
