also there are no bad performances in it like literally none. the villain is so fucking hammy and i want him to die. emile hirsch and christina ricci would be one of the best-played couples ever written in a flick if they somehow weren’t getting upstaged by john goodman and susan sarandon

i’ll watch legacy again sometime in the next two weeks to prep to go see ares and report back. warning the report may be “yeah objectively that wasn’t good but i still loved it because i’ve loved it since i was a child” but. i’ll report back.
