By analyzing the rate of temperature change, researchers correctly identified every fisher and marten den visit—and even distinguished the two species! 🦊🌍🧪

Turns out, it's when you're slowly gaining traction.
Some days it's overwhelming. Other days, a researcher says, "We need this so badly." It all keeps me going.

That’s why we created our new model of double-blind collaborative #peerreview to be transparent, credible, and fair.
Reviewers are even calling it fun & refreshing — 2 words I don’t think anyone has ever said about peer review.
🧪
But it's imperative that as we build the future of #PeerReview and #ScientificPublishing, we make things more fair, transparent, and inclusive.

One of our goals is to make it easier to peer review & publish datasets, small studies, & negative results.
We all deserve to make an impact with our findings, regardless of how splashy they are.
We need a scientific 2-pager because:
- Length≄Credibility
- Strengthening peer review > Removing it
- The academic article is outdated
Let’s publish our research before it’s too late.

Our collaborative peer review is double-blind to focus on the science, but then transparent upon publication.
The best of both worlds!
One of their big takeaways? We need Open and Transparent Peer Review.
I completely agree. What else do we need in #SciPub 2.0?

I'm a wildlife researcher and was growing frustrated with #ScientificPublishing.
But on this hike, I had an idea to make scientific publishing more collaborative, fair, & transparent. It was time for a change. 🧪 #AcademicSky
